Yes, the device powers off automatically when water falls below the minimum level.
How often do you need to add/replace the water?
This fountain has a capacity of 1.5 liters. The frequency of refills will depend on your pet's drinking habits. However, for maximum freshness, we recommend replacing the water daily.
How do you clean this fountain?
We recommend fully disassembling and scrubbing the Ceramic Pet Fountain every 2 to 4 weeks. In addition to this, the pump must be fully disassembled and rinsed at this time as well.
How do you remove hard water or mineral deposit build-ups?
We recommend soaking all fountain parts excluding the filters and pump for about 30 minutes and then scrubbing with regular dish soap and cloth.
Can this product be battery-operated?
No, this drinking fountain requires constant connection to a wall outlet. It cannot be battery-powered.
Do you sell a chord replacement, in case my cat chewed on it?
No, the manufacture does not currently provide cord replacements.
Can I use it outside?
Yes, as long as you have access to a power outlet, there is no problem.

Can a cat tip it over easily?
Your cat should not be able to tip over the entire fountain due to the weight of the product.
